Verity Systems Announces Expandable Tower Duplicator

28th March 2007: Verity Systems, leading developer and manufacturer of CD and DVD publishing equipment, today announced the launch of the LinxTower duplication system, a revolutionary solution what will expand to allow users to link up to 255 ten drive towers together to give an incredible 2550 target drives.

Each ten target drive tower is linked to another via a D-sub 15 connection. Users simply place a master disc into the first tower in the chain’s DVD-ROM drive and press copy. The data will then pass to each connected tower through the high performance daisy chain cables. Alternatively duplication can be made from a master stored on the 160Gb hard drive for even fast duplication times.  Designed to with-stand 24 / 7 operation and heavy production runs, the LinxTower duplicators enhanced vented air circulation system means that towers never require cooling off periods. The LinxTower is therefore ideal for live events, where discs can be rapidly duplicated on mass, to be handed out immediately after a concert, service or sermon has taken place.

LinxTower supports up to 48x CD duplication or 16x DVD duplication. In addition, a USB 2.0 connection provides users with the option to link the towers to their PC and use one of the DVD-RW drives inside the tower an external optical drive.

Pricing
Manufacturer’s suggested list price for the LinxTower is $1,589/ £732 / €1,084 for each ten drive tower. The LinxTower is available now through Verity Systems’ authorized partners and resellers throughout the world.
